Unsigned Track Ideas

These music videos show a nice variety of British talent within the music industry. The lyrics and the keys of the chord progressions within the songs allow a wide variety of ideas for our music video. We can use the face paced tempo of the house genre track to create a music video that is fast paced and exciting and will test the skills we possess as editors.
In comparison to this the blues genre track will allow us to create a music video involving a narrative allowing us to be much more creative with our ideas.

  1. ”Fools in Love” (Inara George) An excellent singer but is a Los Angeles, California-based singer-songwriter, one half of The Bird and the Bee and a member of the band Merrick.. Thus not a British artist which rules this track out.
“Gotta Get Back” (Mike Perks’ Headed West) The sound is very American with lyrics like “rail road track” and the sound of the guitar. I have a hunch he is not a British artist! But check.
“Just a Poor Boy”…echoes of Bob Dylan here. A quite appealing track but who is the artist?
Moguai…..a great track but it is strongly acid/electronic dance genre. I really like it but as albums are available on Amazon you need to check if this band are signed which I think they may be. They have a large tour organised if you go to http://www.moguai.com/
You need to be careful about nationality of bands you’re researching and whether they’re signed. Keep on looking.
